But wait! I have some evidence to support my claim.
1. Galbatorix has been trying to stalk Eragon for the whole two books (Getting Urgals to observe him)
2. Eragon is gay. Refer to this page for details.
3. Shruikan+Galbatorix are like gods. So it would be easy to -convince- Eragon to...
4. Black is d**n cooler than red/green/gold. So Saphira loves Shruikan.
5. Saphira is desperate to continue the dragon race. Correct? So... Yeah.

Yeah. Murtagh being an actual person with flaws and Eragon being godman who isn't affected by scars and doesn't give a d**n if he kills 300 people.
Pretty gross ruining the only actual character in the books now.

But Eragon is ANGST!GOOD so he couldn't let Saphira near Shruikan. Not voluntarily, anyway, so Murtagh would have to play 'matchmaker' there.

Eragon with the help of elvan spellcasters manages to defeat Murtagh
but lets him go. Orik becomes king of the dwarves andso they fully join the fight with galbatorix. Eragon manages to have a riders sword made for him and he names it Brisingr hence the title. Gladyr and Oromis leave make themselves known and are killed by Galbatorix
