The whole day had he had been running back and fourth, giving messages. Although, of course, none of these messages he carried were vital to the survival of the Varden. No, they didn't trust him. Sighing, Xavier slowed his pace, finally allowed to do what he wanted. Not that he didn't want to deliver messages, but now that his volunteer time was over, he could spend the rest of the day at his leisure.
Looking around, he slowly made his way over to a nearby shop that was empty at the moment. There were many different carved bows, decorative quivers, and a limited supply on arrows. Seeing this, Xavier casually strolled up to the owner. After a few minutes talk, he pulled out his arrows, all hand crafted and sharpened by him. It was obvious he was prideful of his work by the way he handled each arrow.
With a nod, the satisfied shopkeeper accepted them and in return Xavier got a bit of money. Not a whole lot, but he had some more. Now wandering aimlessly through the city, he was anxious for something to happen -- something that would allow his time to go faster and enjoyable.
