What did you think of the betrayal by Murtagh at the end of Eldest? Do you think he's really "evil"?

*giggles* Who can't be a fan of Murtagh? He is just so cool...I thought that they could have had a bit of a stronger bond thing going between Murtagh and Thorn though...you didn't really see much of Thorn's personality at all.

Thorn doesn't even get a single line in the whole book.
He has less personality than Glaedr (Gasp shock). Glaedr has less personality than Oromis (Gasp Shock). Maybe he thought minor characters don't need personalities. Murtagh is possibly the only character with a personality. How cool.

Well...that's really only because Thorn has a mental link with Murtagh, and unless he actually projected his thoughts (which would put his both his and Murtagh's mindss protection at risk) Eragon wouldn't actually have heard Thorn say anything...although I wish that you could have had some idea about what his personality was like.
