your name:

other characters RPed on DRA:
None. I'm new <3
character:
name:
Galbatorix
age:
Unknown. Though years and years.
gender:
Male
race:
Dragon Rider
allegiance:
Himself, of course
description:
(How I see him)
Galbatorix has messy, black hair - short. Although he's old, he's not weak in any way possible - and doesn't look it, either. He's fairly short for his age, his features being that of a middle-aged man, his eyes being the only thing that portrays the pain and years that he's been through. His skin is of a pale complexion, and his limbs are reasonably formed. Galbatorix couldn't be described of as muscled, exactly - but as I stated before, he's certainly not weak.
Galbatorix wears several different types of clothes - after all, he's the king. He can wear whatever he feels like. He often wears a light, small gold crown excrusted with expensive gems, just to show off and remind everyone that he's the boss. He quite often wears black, though the reason behind this is unknown. His footwear constists of plain sandals. Nothing glamourous about these in the slightest.
His weapons are pretty much unknown of - although it seems sensible to assume that he carries a sword, alongside any other common weapons that might be associated with a Dragon Rider.
personality:
Galbatorix is evil - pure evil. This comes from his past, mostly. However, this isn't all. He can have his compassionate moments, though these often melt into sarcasm - they're rarely genuine. Galbatorix is power-hungry and blood-thirsty - he doens't care how many have to be slayed, as long as he gets his kingdom. He plans to reign the whole of Alaga?sia, and won't let anyone get in his way.
This could lead onto you describing him as determined, stubborn, etc. etc. He's certainly not shy and secluded, that's for sure. Galbatorix will always compose himself, making sure he represents who he is before seeing someone. He could perhaps be associated with a cat - he likes to play with his prey before mercilessly killing them in what couldn't be described as anything other than cold-blooded murder. So maybe he's not a cat after all.
history:
Galbatorix was born around a century ago in Inzilbêth. Nothing is known about his origins or parents, but at the age of ten he was selected to approach the Dragon Eggs and be tested. And a Drgaon hatched. It was discovered that Galbatorix harboured great potential and power inside him that had never surfaced before, and he passed all the others in his training. It was no surprise when he was invited to be one of the Legendary Dragon Riders.
However, he was still foolish. Believing himself to be invincable, Galbatorix and a group of friends ventured into Urgal territory, believing themselves to be safe However, while they were sleeping they were ambushed by the Urgals, and his friends were all killed. Galbatoriz made it out alive, slaughtering the Urgals. A stray arrow escaped, however, piercing his dragon and killing her. Driven by grief, he retreated from the world, spending time in the Spine alone and desolate, before he finally collapsed from exhaustion. A farmer found him and summoned the Dragon Riders, who took him back to their capital and nursed the young rider back to health.
Once he was well again, Galbatorix begged the Council at Vroengard for another Dragon to replace his lost one, yet they saw through his plea to the madness that he'd become, firmly denying the youngster another Dragon. Galbatorix's mind began to twist, blaming the Dragon Riders for the death of his dragon, and refusing to believe anything else he heard. And so, he convinced another to join him, the two banding together and slaying an Elder - a crime punishable by death.
Turning on his partner, he slew the young rider, fleeing into the mountains to grow stronger. While in hiding, a young yet highly skilled rider - named Morzan - came across the male by accident. Sensing the power in Morzan, Galbatoriz convinced him to unlock a gate at the capital. Morzan obeyed, and together they snuck in and stole a Dragon Hatchling. Naming this one Shruikan, they two bided their time until he was fully grown, before they wagered a full out war agaisnt the Riders. Another twelve corrupt riders joined Galbatorix, and these twelve plus Morzan became the Thirteen Forsworn.
The Dwarves and the Elves both fought, but eventually retreated into hiding, protecting their race. The Dragon Riders were all eventually killed by these fourteen riders, and Galbatorix himself slew the King of Alaga?sia, appointing himself the new King.

He has a black and violet Dragon named Shurikan, also played by me.

He laughed. A cruel, harsh, power-hungry laughed that portrayed all his most evil thoughts in one, long syllable that carried through the air and held for a few moments, before dying into a deadly silence.
However, this silence was soon broken by a draconic snort, the large, ebonite dragon moving forwards, his thick legs making soft 'thuds' against the floor with every step. The king's head turned sharply, watching his dragon with a satisfied smirk, his fingertips placed against each other, hands held in front of his chest.
Are the preparations made? flashed Galbatorix's voice through his Dragon's head, the king rsorting to mind speak.
Shurikan lifted his wings, fluttering them lightly and allowing the thin sunlight to streak though his translucent violet wing membrances, highlighting the ebony-coloured bones that held them together. They are. But what of it?
In time, my good friend. All in good time.
Even the Dragon - the King's closest friend that was allowed into the inner most depths of his mind - could not see what his rider was currently planning. Something evil, no doubt. And he would follow him, where-ever he might need to go.
